Ep 27: ”I See You, Nurse”. A Special Tribute Episode.
Friday Apr 14, 2023
Friday Apr 14, 2023
Welcome to a special edition of Five Things. In this episode we are taking a pause to honour the life of an amazing nurse and part of our work family. Chelsea lived her life with endless purpose, fearless honesty, and a focus on the future. She was like all of us who do such emotionally big work, a complex, smart, loving person who could be bitingly funny, and a soft place to land when her team or family were struggling. She was more resilient than anyone I have ever known. Thanks and love to my ICU work family, and all the amazing healthcare professionals who cared for Chelsea when we couldn’t.
I See You, Nurse is a poem by Connor Bond, an Emergency and Critical Care Nurse. This serves as a beautiful tribute to all ICU nurses, and to Chelsea, the best of us.
